Educational Qualification:
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the following subjects:
- Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science
- Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Zoology
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry, or Engineering
Age Limit (as of 01 August 2025):
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 32 years
(Born between 2 August 1993 and 1 August 2004)
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PWD: 10 years (+3 years for OBC, +5 years for SC/ST)
Selection Process
The selection process includes two stages:
Preliminary Examination: Objective type with two papers (400 marks).
- Minimum qualifying marks: 33% in General Studies Paper-II.
- Negative marking: 0.33 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
- Papers set in Hindi and English.
Main Examination: Written test followed by an interview.
- Written test includes 6 essay-type papers.
- Interview carries 300 marks.
Final rankings will be based on the Main Examination (written + interview).
